INFORMATION ON FEES

Please note: Fees are assessed annually and are subject to change.

The John Wesley Pre-Primary School - La Lucia is a private school and therefore relies heavily on school fees being paid in full and on time in order to cover monthly running expenses.
Payment of school fees is compulsory and failure to do so will result in your child being suspended from classes as well as legal action being taken to recover the fees.

FEES FOR 2025

REGISTRATION FEE: R700 (as of 1 October 2024)

If your child is accepted into our school, you will be required to pay a once off Registration Fee (non-refundable) to secure your child’s place. This will be used for your child’s admission costs and registration pack which includes a school bag, t-shirt and hat.

SCHOOL FEES: R46 640 annual fee

The tuition fees are payable in one of the following ways:

R46 640 – R2 332 (5% discount) = R44 308 if the fees are paid in full on or before 31^st January.
R4 240 per month over 11 months (first payment due on 31 Jan, last payment due on 30 Nov)
R11 660 per term (payable in the first week of each term).
A 5% sibling discount is applicable for siblings of past and current students of John Wesley Pre-Primary

ONCE OFF ANNUAL LEVIES:

Playgroup Toiletry Levy – R200 payable at beginning of term 1

Gr 000 Toiletry Levy – R200 payable at beginning of term 1

Gr 00 Stationery Levy – R400 payable at beginning of term 1

Gr 0 Stationery Levy – R600 payable at beginning of term 1

AFTERCARE FEES:

12:15 to 2:00pm – R3500 per year (11 months of R320 per month or R875 per term)

12:15 to 3:30pm – R5800 per year (11 months of R530 per month or R1450 per term)

12:15 to 5:00pm – R8400 per year (11 months of R760 per month or R2100 per term)

Casual Aftercare fees:

until 2:00pm – R25

until 3:30pm – R45

until 5:00pm – R55

HOLIDAY CARE FEES:

Permanent Aftercare children receive holiday care FREE up to their aftercare timeslot

Casual Holiday Care Fees: R50 per half day and R100 per full day for John Wesley learners. For non-John Wesley learners, R70 per half day and R140 per full day - up to the age of 7.
